Bodega California-a place of inescapable horrors

We had our initial reservations about our trip into the heart of Hitchcock madness, but having traveled there unscathed numerous times, we decided to take our chances. We grabbed up our fully charged digital cameras and headed for the hills.
Our first destination was the salt-water taffy shop on Highway One. Although this taffy shop had nothing to do with the movie, the taffy was great (could have been saltier). About half a mile north of the taffy shop we encountered The Tides restaraunt/fish market. We were disappointed at the remodeling of the Hitchcock landmark, so we left without even stepping out of the car (but we snapped a quick picture).
Before and after.

We didn't meet any crows or famous people in or around Bodega, but we did visit this quaint school house.

Today we learned that people in Bodega California don't really care about the movie that was filmed there 43 years ago. We were the only "Bird" enthusiasts in town, and we were pretty disappointed when the local mailman called us "hollywood red-necks" and told us to "get the fu*k out of [his] town before [he] calls the police".
We're having a great time and enjoy hearing from all of our land-locked buddies!
